Our
Services
Main Therapies:
YinYang
Medicine
is
made
up
of
four
different
types
of
natural healthcare. They include:
1.
YinYang Needling.
The
original,
ancient
energy
needling
medicine.
This
includes
needling,
cupping
&
moxa.
It
balances
the
energy
systems
of
the
body
to
enable
your
body
to
overcome
illness or injury.
2.
Muscle
&
Bone
BodyWork.
Alignment
problems,
strengthening
structural
weakness
to
support
pain-free
movement and better sports & workplace performance.
3.
Absorbed-Ingested Medicine.
Therapeutic
substances
&
preparation
taken
into
the
body
via
the
mouth,
nose,
skin
such
as
nutrition,
herbs,
aroma,
poultices or lotions.
4.
Activity-Relaxation Therapy.
Restorative
and
Balancing
exercises
&
movement.
Chi
Kung-
hard
demanding
e.g.
resistance
&
weights.
Nei
Kung
–
soft
relaxing.
Used
to
strengthen
or
relax
muscle
groups
contributing
to
illness;
and
to
help
rehabilitate
injury
or
trauma.
Singularly or Combined
Each
of
these
forms
of
YinYang
Medicine
may
be
used
individually,
or
in
combination
-
in
different
ways
depending
on
the
nature
of
the
imbalance
or
the
exhibited
health
problems.
Looks Like...But is NOT the Same.
YinYang Medicines may look similar to more
commonly-known
forms
of
needling,
massage,
nutrition,
herbalism
and
exercise
physiology
therapies
;
but
our
approach is very different.
The Sciences are Different
Our treatment are based purely on ancient
YinYang
Medical
Sciences.
These
sciences
were
one
of
the
the
great
scientific
breakthroughs
of
the
ancient
world
-
but
are little known of today.
We
are
proud
to
offer
you
an
exciting
range
of
natural
healthcare
services
with
the
potential
to
bring
significant
improvement to your health.
YinYang Needling
This
is
NOT
Traditional
Chinese,
Japanese
or
Medical
Acupuncture; or Modern Dry Needling. It pre-dates them.
YinYang
Needling
is
a
very
different
to
these
more
commonly known therapies.
The
concepts
that
inform
YinYang
Needling
theory
&
practice are unique to it, and are not found in Acupuncture.
How does it Work?
YinYang
Needling
creates
powerful
therapeutic
effects
by
balancing,
stimulating
&
regulating
all
the
energy
systems
throughout the body.
As
the
energy
systems
regain
balance,
the
body’s
own
powerful
healing
and
repair
systems
kick
into
action
-
enabling the body to heal itself more effectively.
This
approach
often
restores
health
to
the
body
in
a
surprisingly short time.
Balancing The Body’s Energy Systems
The
energy
systems
are
inter-connected
with
one
another.
And,
with
good
health
the
yin-yang
properties
of
the
entire
body are well-balanced.
When
our
health
is
injured,
an
imbalance
is
produced
in
the
energic
system,
a
malfunction
occurs
in
an
organ
or
function of the body; and very specific symptoms appear.
Each
problem
will
exhibit
a
set
of
yin
-
yang
conditions
e.g.
cold
or
hot,
contracting
or
flaccid,
over-excited
or
under-
active, little sleep or excessive sleepiness; and so on.
If
the
imbalance
is
not
corrected,
the
body’s
defence
and
recuperative
powers
can
be
overwhelmed;
leading
to
compound problems - with a complex array of symptoms.
We
needle
points
to
return
yin-yang
balance
to
all
affected
systems.
Needling
enables
the
body
to
react
to
any
internal
trauma
or
crisis
or
external
stresses
properly.
It
removes
the
symptoms and restores health action to the affected areas
We
must
address
the
disease
causes
by
making
changes
to
eating,
exercise,
work-rest
or
any
problem-causing
activities
& behaviour patterns.
Individualised Care
It
requires
sound
judgement,
experience
&
expertise
to
deliver great treatment results.
Each
treatment
is
as
individual
as
the
person
affected.
Careful
diagnosis
is
required
to
target
dysfunction,
imbalance and identify causes.
At
your
follow-up
appointment
I
monitor
any
changes
and
adapt
the
treatment
taking
into
account
therapeutic
results
achieved
from
the
previous
session
and
the
current
state
of
the complaint.
Muscle & Bone Bodywork.
We
use
different
applications
of
light
or
firm
pressure,
rubbing,
brushing
applied
to
soft
tissue,
BioChi
points,
bones
surfaces,
tendons,
muscle
zones;
and
we
also
gently
stretch-mobilise
bony
areas
including
joints,
torso,
vertebrae, back, skull, neck and limbs.
Our
goal
is
to
return
balanced
movement
and
action
to
the
affected
area;
and
all
related
or
supporting
structures
&
functions.
It
will
help
restriction
or
pain
on
movement,
injuries
-
old
or
new, specific illnesses, and your general health.
How it Works
We
assess
your
problems
using
veterinarian-like
observational
diagnosis
of
yinyang
imbalances
and
your
body and movement patterns, and Q&A interview.
We
then
use
a
set
of
age-old
therapeutic
hand-finger
techniques to address the issues.
We
most
often
recommend
combining
hands-on
Muscle
&
Bone
BodyWork,
with
different
combinations
of
Needling,
Exercise Therapies or Food-Nutrient Prescriptions.
Looking At Causes
Pain,
restriction,
abnormal
muscle
&
bone
development,
and
poor
movement
patterns
stem
from
structural
imbalances;
and
they
also
have
their
root
in
internal
health
problems
caused
by
diet,
various
emotional-mental
stresses, organ dysfunction, low energy and more.
We
will
make
recommendations
to
counteract
the
causes,
or any aggravating factors, we have identified.
Structural Related Health Problems.
Muscle to Organ Links
Blood,
nerve
and
energy
supply
can
be
greatly
hindered
when
muscles
tighten
or
go
flaccid.
This
is
significant,
because
there
are
associations
between
muscles
and
organs
&
body
functions.
A
weak
muscle
will
produce
a
corresponding weakness in a related system of the body.
Flow-on Effects if Not Fixed
Unchecked
problems
in
the
moving
components
or
stabilising
structures
of
the
hips,
sciatic
area,
joint,
knees
for
example,
can
have
direct
impact
or
flow-on
effects
on
the
normal
working
of
the
bowel,
gut,
waterworks,
and
lungs for instance.
We
can
correct
many
sporting
&
workplace
injuries
or
imbalances with this form of YinYang Medicine.
And,
r
eliance
on
pain-killers
is
not
a
sound
long-term
option.
Absorbed-Ingested Medicine.
This involves using specific elements, foods, herbs,
preparations, balms or poultices for yinyang bio-chemical
balancing with direct effects on the internal organs,
hormonal, metabolism, blood, fluid systems and thus a wide
range of problems.
We use the pathways through which external substances
are taken into the body, to correct and regulate problems;
and get to the seat of the health breakdown - disease.
Rich, highly concentrated, complex mixtures or large doses
of medicine don’t necessarily produce the best results; but
the correctly balanced approach does.
Latest Nutritional Science
By combining this ancient YinYang medical science with
leading-edge modern nutritional science we can have very
targeted effects and added power.
Absorption pathways.
For instance, the skin has a connection to the gas
exchange functions of the lungs - so specific medical lotions
will aid in lung problems, especially when applied over the
organ and in combination with needling and special
exercises that bring yinyang balancing exercise to the
affected organ.
Activity-Relaxation Therapy.
The
way
we
move,
our
posture,
over
or
under-exertion,
our
recreational-work
habits
have
a
strong
influence
on
our
attitude,
our
state
of
mind,
our
health
and
the
potential
for
recovery from illness and injury.
Balance
Activity-Relaxation
Therapy
balances
our
interaction
with
the
environment
we
move
in;
and
improves
the
ability
of
our
body
and
mind
to
adapts
to
the
stresses
&
pressures
of
work,
interactions
with
others,
immune
challenges,
climate
and the seasons.
It’s
about
prescribing
specific
types
of
yinyang
exercises
or
movements
to
return
balance
and
order
to
the
whole
person in their particular situation.
Not
only
to
strengthen
or
relax
muscle
groups
and
heart-
circulation but also to target specific systems of the body.
Synagistic
Balanced
activity
is
fundamental
for
good
health.
But
these
therapeutic
activities
also
work
as
a
catalyst
for
the
other
three YinYang Medicines.
Use As Directed
Aside
from
the
types
of
exercises,
it
is
important
to
perform
them
as
advised,
at
specific
times
of
the
day,
after
ingesting
a
prescribed
meal,
in
varying
sequences
and
so
on - depending on the your individual needs.
Chi Kung
These
are
hard
or
demanding
activities
e.g.
resistance,
weights,
sounds,
behaviours
that
require
physical
or
mental exertion.
Nei Kung
These
are
very
unique,
ancient
types
of
soft
relaxing
activities.
To
reprogram
and
relax
parts
of
the
body
or
behavioural
patterns
that
are
the
source
of
illness;
and
to
rehabilitate injury or trauma.
Body affects the Mind
Activity
is
a
powerful
agent
in
restoring
health,
not
only
to
to
the
body
but
also
to
the
mind.
The
connection
between
the
mind
and
the
body
is
yet
to
be
fully
realised
in
our
day;
but
its
significance
was
fully
appreciated
by
the
developers
of
Chi-Kung
&
Nei-Kung
in
the
